Description:

16 bunk spaces (2 x 8 person mixed dorms) will be booked initially, there may be space to expand if more people are interested. Those who are less comfortable in shared rooms may wish to book individual rooms separately. This meet will be based around Fort William with excellent access to Ben Nevis and Glen Coe and within day trips of Creag Meagaidh, the Cairngorms and the North West Highlands. With luck, conditions may be suitable for winter mountaineering, mixed/ice climbing, munro/corbett bagging, skiing, snow holing, waterproof testing and/or whisky drinking.

Accommodation will be in shared dormitories in the SYHA Hostel Glen Nevis (self catering, food not included).

For winter mountaineering you need: an ice axe, crampons, stiff boots. For winter climbing you need: 2 ice axes, crampons, stiffer boots, harness, helmet. For wet conditions you need: a sense of humour.
