A day's riding around the mountain biking trails in and around QECP.Inside QECP there are two waymarked trails - Intermediate (blue) and Advanced (red). There's also lots of bridleways in the area, making for a mixed day of adventures in the countryside and trail centre style riding. I’m planning on leading a ride which combines both the red/blue trails and the bridleways outside of the park. The riding isn’t too demanding: the hills can be fairly steep but they’re short; the riding can be technical but the ground will be soft!
We’ll be out riding for most of the day, so bring some food & drink (there is a cafe in the visitor centre and there are pubs out on the route, but I can’t guarantee we’ll arrive at these during eating hours!). Unless the temperature plummets, it’ll be extremely muddy and slippery so bring knobbly tyres (and the usual sense of humour required on winter rides)!
