The club organises a range of activities for our younger (under 18) members.
The aim is to meet up once or twice a month for a local walk or other activity and also have weekends away especially during the school half terms . These will either be at Pen Y Clogwyn (the clubs Mountaineering hut in N Wales) or when the weather is warmer, camping out under the stars.
We have an active programme where you can learn how to camp, use a compass and map, learn about the weather, what to wear to keep yourself safe and warm, and a little about first aid.
There’s no age -restriction on joining and the junior fee for joining the club is kept low. This gives junior members the same benefits as adult members, including the reduced rate for staying in the club hut.
For all activities a parent or guardian who is a club members must come along with the youth members, will be responsible for them at all times.
